At The Mansion House, we are well aware that your wedding day is one of the most important and memorable moments of your life, which is why we take every care to ensure that it is a dream occasion.
It’s not just the backdrop for the ceremony that’s unique, it’s our care and attention to detail which will be evident every step of the way.
The beauty of this historic home is that there are so many different possibilities and it doesn’t matter if you’re planning an intimate affair for a small number of people or a lavish event – we have the location to suit.
And of course, one of the many bonuses is that you’ll have exclusivity so that you and your guests can enjoy every aspect of this special day without sharing it with anyone else.
We are licensed for Civil Ceremonies. If you would like to hold your ceremony at the Mansion House please make arrangements with your registrar.
Here at The Mansion House, we can accommodate up to 80 guests for a Wedding Breakfast. This can be extended to 130 guests for an evening function. The minimum number of guests for a Saturday is 50, for Friday and Sunday the minimum is 40.
The grand Entrance Hall, with its sweeping staircase is perhaps the ideal choice for a ceremony where the couple want to make a big impact. The wedding breakfast could then follow in the Large Drawing Room where up to 80 guests can be seated.
For smaller ceremonies of up to 30 people our Dining Room is an excellent choice, providing a really delightfully intimate setting.
The Mansion House offers the perfect setting for your wedding photographs, from the elegance of our Italian Terrace to the landscaped gardens and croquet lawn.

All receptions are within the ground floor of the house only. The menus and drinks packages detailed in the brochure are suggestions only and we would be happy to discuss your specific requirements.
